 My career in the beauty industry began 9 years ago, when I qualified as a Makeup Artist. After working on various makeup counters, and then in a salon (where I trained in various other beauty treatments) I eventually became self-employed, renting my very own room in the back of a hairdressers, which I loved! This is where it all began and I really found my feet in the world of beauty. 

Becoming my own boss is the best decision I have EVER made. The passion and commitment to my job eventually led to me opening a salon! 

I have noticed a big shift in the beauty industry over recent times and I have become very aware of clients learning to embrace the ‘natural’ ‘clean girl’ look. This meant makeup became less in demand; With skincare sales skyrocketing, everyone has started looking after their skin SO much more.

LOGISTICS OF PROGRAMME -

We cover each step of a LUXURY facial, in great detail and in the correct order. You’ll learn the benefits of a natural face lifting massage, including use of pressure points and the movements to complete them effectively. These techniques are loved by clients and take them into a super relaxed state. You’ll learn how to identify skin types and what products to use, based on long-term goals.

Course breakdown:

STEP 1 Rejuvenation. 

- How to begin a facial, harness calming energy, double cleanse and tone. 

STEP 2 Detoxing the skin. 

- Exfoliation, steam and extraction. 

STEP 3 Massage and Lymphatic Drainage. 

- Neck, Chest, Shoulder and face massage (including Gua Sha technique). 

STEP 4. Relaxation and Hydration.

 - Face mask application and head massage. 

STEP 5 Protect and Refresh. 

- Moisturise, cold therapy and SPF.

You will also learn the benefits of all the above steps.

Prerequisites - It is advised that you have a Level 2 or 3 in Beauty Therapy / have an accredited skincare qualification (in order to hold the correct insurance).

Treatment Price - You can charge £60-£70 for this treatment depending on your location.

Treatment Time - It takes 1 hour to perform this facial treatment.
